This policy explains what information Kenny’s on the Water collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to kennysonthewater.com. It does not cover information you share with us in person at the restaurant, or the separate websites we link to for reservations, ordering and gift cards.

Our website is built and hosted on the Kora platform, which runs it on our behalf.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form: your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional) and your message.

  • Private event inquiry form: your name, phone number, email address, the date and time of your event, the approximate number of guests, the occasion and any other details you choose to share.

  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address.

  • Email and phone: anything you send us when you email or call us.

Please do not include sensitive information, such as health details or payment card numbers, in our forms. We never ask for payment information on this website.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical information: like most websites, our hosting providers receive basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you request and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.

  • Spam protection: our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which collects information about your device and how you interact with the page to tell people from bots.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this website, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

How we use your information

  • Kora, our website platform, which hosts the site and receives your form submissions so they can be delivered to us.

  • Cloudflare, which delivers the website and protects it from attacks, and Microsoft Azure, where the site’s images and documents are stored.

  • Google, for reCAPTCHA spam protection on our forms and for the map on our Contact page. Google’s use of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

  • iContact, which manages our email newsletter list.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our guests, staff or others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

Reservations, ordering and other services

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not set its own cookies for analytics or advertising. If you close the announcement bar at the top of the page, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage so the bar stays closed; nothing is sent to us.

Google reCAPTCHA (on pages with a form) and the Google map (on our Contact page) may set or read their own cookies when they load. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the forms may not work without them.

Email newsletter

If you join our newsletter, we use your email address to send you discounts, special offers and news from Kenny’s. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time by emailing contact@kennysonthewater.com.

How long we keep information

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you, plan your event and keep reasonable business records, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe. We then delete them or keep them only where the law requires.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we use reputable service providers to host it and handle your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children’s privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
